Each fall, the PTA holds its annual fundraiser, which raises the majority of our funds for the year. We also organize Dolphin Dine Out events with local restaurants and apply for grants through the Orange County Arts Commission and the Public School Foundation.
All funds raised go directly towards enhancing the school experience for all students and staff, including supporting the following:
Reimbursement for teacher supplies and special projects, including spider plants in 3rd grade and musical instruments in the music classroom!
Campus Beautification initiatives, including the Garden Education program and campus art
The Families Helping Families program
Year-long staff appreciation initiatives, including Staff Appreciation Week in the spring
The winter book fair and, new this year to MES, the spring True Book Fair
Community-building events, including Fall Festival, Winter Market, STEM Night, Multicultural Night, 5th grade graduation, and much, much more.
